The Misunderstanding of Miracles
James 4:3 - "When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures."
Question 1: Do you sometimes feel like God is not answering your prayers? Could it be that your motives are not aligned with God's will?
Question 2: How can you align your prayers with God's will and purpose for your life?
Question 3: How can you find peace in the midst of unanswered prayers, knowing that God sometimes does more through our unanswered prayers?
The Reality of Suffering
John 16:33 - "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
Question 1: Have you experienced suffering and hardship in your life?
Question 2: How can you find peace in the midst of suffering, knowing that Jesus has overcome the world?
Question 3: How can you lean on God's sufficient grace in times of weakness?
Psalm 46:1 - "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."
Question 1: Have you experienced the presence of God in your life?
Question 2: How can you seek God's presence more than His miracles?
Question 3: How can you find peace in God's presence, regardless of your circumstances?
Conclusion: The real miracle is not about getting what we want from God, but about finding peace in His presence, regardless of our circumstances. It is about learning to trust Him, even when our prayers seem unanswered. This is the peace that surpasses all understanding, the peace that Jesus promised to His followers. This is the real miracle.
