“Therefore put on the full armor of God, and pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.”

— Ephesians 6:13,18 (NIV)

What spiritual obstacles are hindering your approach to God, and how can you wrestle with them in prayer?

"Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes." — Ephesians 6:11

We do not wrestle with God but against spiritual forces that block us from drawing near to Him. Like Jacob wrestling with God’s messenger, we contend with distractions, doubts, and sin, trusting that wrestling before God strengthens our faith rather than cripples us.

Are you praying with the completeness and confidence found only in Christ’s full armor?

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." — Ephesians 6:12

True prevailing prayer comes from being "complete in Christ." Without this spiritual armor, prayers may be sincere but lack power. Stand firm in Christ’s victory, engaging confidently in spiritual warfare through prayer.

How do you discern God’s perfect will from His permissive will in the challenges you face, and how do you respond?

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." — Romans 8:28

God’s immutable order never changes, but His permissive will allows trials that reveal His purposes in us. Wrestling in these moments is an active struggle that grows us spiritually, helping us align our hearts to God’s unchanging plan.
