Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 30:21-25

Question 1: Am I honoring my role in God’s army, whether on the front lines or supporting from behind?

Scripture:

Luke 8:1-3 — "After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with him, and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases... These women were helping to support them out of their own means."

Reflection:

Just as Jesus' ministry had both preachers and supporters, God’s work requires diverse roles. Whether you are preaching, teaching, praying, or serving behind the scenes, your role is vital for the success of His kingdom. How are you contributing to God’s mission where you are planted?

Question 2: Do I recognize the equal importance of all gifts and services within the body of Christ?

Scripture:

Romans 12:4-5 — "For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."

Reflection:

Every part of the church body plays a vital role. Whether your gift is teaching, encouraging, giving, leading, or showing mercy, it matters deeply. Are you embracing the value God has given your unique function without comparing yourself to others?

Question 3: Am I serving with the same purpose, sacrifice, and zeal as those on the front lines?

Scripture:

1 Peter 4:11 — "If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever."

Reflection:

Serving God is not about where you serve, but how—your heart, dedication, and zeal matter greatly. Have you fully committed to offering your best for His glory, whether in visible ministries or quiet supportive roles?
